Common FAQ's
How do I get selected?
When you inquire, LWAG staff will review your submission as part of our selection process. A small group of artists will be chosen to exhibit in the upcoming show. Our team works closely with each artist to thoughtfully curate the exhibition, which will also feature works by Lori. This approach creates a collaborative, balanced showcase that highlights both individual talent and the collective spirit of the exhibition.
How long are exhibitions and when are they scheduled?
Exhibitions run in 7-day periods, with the option to extend for a longer display upon request. Our staff are present during regular business hours to accommodate showings and visitors. Exhibitions are curated and scheduled in coordination with participating artists, with exact dates confirmed once the group is finalized.
Do I need previous gallery experience?
Not at all! We welcome both emerging and established artists. Our goal is to make exhibiting accessible and supportive, giving local artists and creators from surrounding areas the opportunity to share their work with the community.
What are the exhibition costs?
Exhibiting in our gallery is a shared opportunity between Lori and participating artists. The exhibition cost ranges from $500–$2,500 for a 7-day period, depending on the number of works and wall space used. This contribution helps cover essential expenses including gallery overhead, event staffing, refreshments, and professional marketing efforts such as social media promotion, printed flyers, and advertisements featuring each artist by name. No commission fees on sales will be collected.
What kind of artwork do you accept?
We welcome submissions in all mediums, styles, and sizes. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture— we’re open to showcasing a wide range of creative practices. The only limitation is that works must be reasonable in scale and able to be safely displayed within the gallery space.
