Wild Horse Series

My inspiration for painting a series of Wild Horses came from the Wild Horses of Sable Island off of the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. I initially saw photographs and the beautiful horses reminded me of my past- my first job at 13 years old was saddling horses and working the pony ring. Horses have always been a majestic animal that I want to replicate on a canvas.
